What this is

WarPrep is a private tool for a clan in the game Forge Master. It is run by PRX, who decides what is done with the data described here. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Lessmore or Forge Master.

Why your data is used

  • To give you an account, to hold your membership, your in-game name and your role in the clan, to keep the amounts you report and show them in the clan totals, and to send you the emails that signing in needs. All of that is needed to provide the tool you signed up for, and that is the legal basis for it (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • Your sign-in sessions record the IP address and the browser they were started from, and a bot check sees the IP address of anyone who opens the sign-in, create account, join or forgot password page. The legal basis is a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)), and the interest is keeping the app and the accounts on it secure, and keeping copies of each clan's data so a mistake can be undone.

An email address is needed for an account and an in-game name for a membership. Without them the app cannot be used.

Who else handles it

The app has no ads, no tracking and no analytics. Data is not sold, and it is not shared outside the companies needed to run the app. Email addresses are never shown in full anywhere in the app.

  • Neon, which hosts the database.
  • Vercel, which hosts the app.
  • Resend, which sends the app's emails.
  • Cloudflare, which runs the bot check.
  • Google or Discord, if you sign in with one of them.

Some of these companies process personal data outside the EU, including in the United States. Their own data processing agreements put those transfers under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission; ask PRX for a copy.

How long it is kept

Everything held about you is tied to your account, and nothing else links it to you. It is kept while the account exists, and deleting the account removes it: your email address, your sign-ins, your in-game names, your requests to join and the amounts you reported, including from the clan's backups. Sign-in records are deleted within a day of the session ending. The clan keeps only that a removed member existed, with no name and no amounts. Leaving a clan keeps what you reported there until the account is deleted.

A clan keeps at most ten copies of its settings and ten of its members' amounts, and the oldest goes when a new one is made. The companies above keep their own logs and a short restore history for a period they set.

Your rights

You can ask PRX to:

  • tell you what is held about you, and give you a copy of it;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • erase your account and the amounts reported with it;
  • stop using it for a while, or stop the use that rests on the legitimate interest above;
  • hand you the data you provided, in a form you can take elsewhere. That covers what you gave and what was recorded from your own use of the app, for the parts that rest on Article 6(1)(b) above.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, in the EU country where you live or work or where you think something went wrong. In Sweden that is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
